To any Constable of the Town of Lancaster in the County of Worcester,
GREETINGS:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Lancaster qualified to vote in the elections and Town affairs, to meet in the Mary Rowlandson Elementary School Auditorium, 103 Hollywood Drive, in said Lancaster on Monday, the fourth day of March, at 7:00 o'clock in the evening, then and there to act on the following Articles:
ARTICLE 1
Board of Selectmen
To see if the Town will vote to balance the FY2002 Budget, as
adopted on May 7, 2001 and amended on June 18, 2001 and October 29, 2001,
by adjusting the various line items and/or by appropriating additional
monies from available funds, or act in any manner relating thereto.
Recommendation from the floor.
ARTICLE 2
Board of Selectmen
To see if the Town will vote to rescind the following votes, or act in any manner relating thereto: Recommendation from the floor.
1. Article 14 of 10/24/00 S.T.M. – From $4,300 to $4,125 for Library
copier, balance to return to Available Funds.
2. Article 13 of 10/29/01 S.T.M. – From $29,875 to $0 for Police Cruiser,
balance to return to Stabilization Fund.
3. Article 14 of 10/29/01 S.T.M. – From $16,000 to $0 for Fire Department
Radio Equipment, balance to return to Stabilization Fund.
ARTICLE 3
Board of Selectmen
To see if the Town will vote to transfer a sum of money from the Stabilization Fund to Communications Wages to implement the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiated between the Town and MASSCOP, Local 203A, Dispatchers, for a contract period beginning July 1, 2000, or act in any manner relating thereto. Recommendation from the floor.
ARTICLE 4
Board of Selectmen
To see if the Town will vote to transfer sum of money from the Stabilization
Fund to Police Wages to implement the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiated
between the Town and MASSCOP Local 203, Police Officers, for a contract
period beginning July 1, 2000, or act in any manner relating thereto.
Recommendation from the floor.
ARTICLE 5
Board of Selectmen
To see if the Town will vote to transfer a sum of money from the Stabilization Fund to DPW Wages; to take from Water Enterprise Available funds; or to amend Article 8 of the 2001 Annual Town Meeting, said sums to be transferred to DPW - Water Division Wages to implement the Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiated between the Town and A.F.S.C.M.E., Local 1817, DPW employees, for the contract period beginning July 1, 2001, or act in any manner relating thereto. Recommendation from the floor.
And you are directed to serve this Warrant by posting up attested
copies thereof at the South Lancaster Post Office, the Center Post Office,
the Fifth Meeting House and the Town Hall, in said Town fourteen days at
least before the time for holding said meeting. Hereof fail not and
make due return of the Warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk
at the time and place of meeting aforesaid.
