Special Meeting Of The District
Article 1: To see if the District will elect a Moderator - Passed over.
Article 2: To see if the district will vote by ballot to elect one (1) Sewer Commissioner, who shall be a citizen of the district, to hold office for the remaining one (1) year unexpired balance of a Three (3) year term. Ted Fritsche
Article 3: To see if the District will vote to authorize the Board of Sewer Commissioners to modify the plans and/or scope of the Center District Sewer Expansion Project as approved by the Voters of the District on September 16, 1998 at a special meeting of the Lancaster Sewer District, or act in any manner thereto. Approved
Article 4: To see if the District will vote to establish a non-binding preference for funding the design and construction of sewers in the
Center District Sewer Expansion Project, including any costs of land acquisition relative thereto, including without limitations all costs thereof as defined in §1 of Chapter 29C of the Massachusetts General Laws, by raising
and appropriating, taking from available funds, or borrowing, a sum not
to exceed $4,900,000. (The District on September 16, 1998, appropriated the sum of $4,900,000 for the design, construction, land acquisition costs, and other Chapter 29C, §1 costs for this project, and authorized the District Treasurer
to borrow $4,900,000, or a portion thereof, and issue bonds and notes under Chapter 44 and/or Chapter 29C. This vote is designed to provide the sewer commissioners the District¹s preference for the method of funding
